According to The Big Read, the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books on their list.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.

Nail polish
My sister is babysitting, and I promissed to pick her up. So while I'm waiting, I have given myself a manicure complete with a cheap H&M nail polish of a pale blue/green and glittery colour that's for some reason called 'Light Ocean'. It's making the room smell really strongly of, well, nail polish. There's nothing on TV, so I'm going to find a nice fic to read while I wait.

It's snowing!
For real! For real, real even. Isn't that great? It's snowing heavily and it's not melting on the ground. Maybe March wont be the suckfest of a month that Febuary was. The wind is kind of strong though. Pretty, but it might be a bitch in the morning.
Anyway. It's 4.30 am. I haven't really slept for two days. But that's ok. The snow is pretty.

Rant on fanfiction writing
Fuck! So, I was writing this SGA fic that's been buzzing around my head for a while now. My problem is that I've got the entire story in my head, but when I actually start writing it down they go, dark is one way to describe it another way is by askig yourself "shouldn't he have comitted suicide by now?". It was a simple 'John doesn't sit in the chair in antarctica, but ends up going to atlantis later on' sort of plot. It was until I started to write it and John by the end was a homeless hinted at drugaddict who dies of hypothermina. No way in hell am I going to post something like that.
So now I'm going to do the Disney route. It made Wedensday happy, maybe it'll work for me.

Dear Neighbour
I know your gay.
I'm not judging you or anything, in fact I say good for you. But do you have to prove your gayness by listening to the crap music you do? Seriously!
So, ok, the last month or so I've listen to three CD's and three CD's only (High School Musical, Powerpuff girl soundtrack and Live From Creamfields'99). Not the sanest of combinations. But at least it's not the whiny, half country, half Streisand, half Raidiohead crap you insist on listening to. And I just realized I should have used thirds instead of halfs.
Now I'm going to watch the Stargate Movie, well as far as I can get before I get distracted and put on another movie.

That Stargate movie called...um...whatever
I downloaded it, watched it last night. Well, at least I tried. Because, I was about a minute into it when I started to hum 'climb every mountain' and got this strange urge to watch The sound of music. So I did that instead and I'm not entirely sure if that was a smart thing to do. Yeah, come to think of it, I should have just watched the damned stargate movie and been done with it. But I'll get to that, unless I start again and decide to watch lord of the rings instead.
Hey, anyone know if there's annoying, yet catchy songs in the movie? Or Hobbits? Hobbits would be cool.

SGA: Outcast
Did anyone notice the tie that Sheppard was wearing to his fathers funeral, and the fact that for an old guy he looks hot in a suit? It had dots on it! I love that tie, and I have a dress that matches it, so I could bring Sheppard with me to parties as an accessory!

David Bowie, depression and the start of something new
I think my neighboors depressed. Why do I think that, you might wonder (or not). My first, and admittedly only, clue is that he's listening to David Bowies Ziggy Stardust album. And if nothing else then to me that is instant depression. So, to counter the soul crushing feeling of despair that's creeping up on me I'm putting on the powerpuff girl soundtrack. Or, since I can't find the CD (it has to be here somewhere, I think), I'm putting on the soundtrack from High School Musical.
Since this is my first post this time around, I might as well include some important facts about myself:
1. I like fanfiction, but I don't own a TV and because I have the attentionspan of a squirrel on LSD I don't actually watch that much of the shows I read fiction about. My views on characters are therefor slightly twisted.
2. I indulge in obsessions: Which means if I like a TV show I watch and read everything I can from it for about a month then never touch it again.
3. Currently I like Stargate Atlantis (well, John Sheppard and all whump of him), High School Musical, Battlestar Gallactica and Buffy the Vampireslayer (and BtVS/SG1 crossovers for some strange reason.
3.5. I love Dexter and Gossip Girl.
4. People who know me call me wierd.
Oh! I found the Powerpuff girl soudtrack. And by the way, the movie might suck, but the soundtrack is brilliant. So go buy it.
